Sam has over 15 years of experience as a clinician in the NHS. In 2023, she undertook a clinical fellowship to the Chief Sustainability Officer within NHS England and the Greener NHS programme in 2023, whilst hosted by the BMJ as their sustainability fellow, commissioning and editing content with a climate and/or sustainability focus. More recently, she has taken on an editorial fellowship in planetary health at BMJ Leader, handling content with a planetary health and sustainability focus, alongside now working for the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition as a project manager focussing on decarbonising clinical trials.
